Sunderfolk PAX West Sweepstakes

Official Rules


By participating in the Sunderfolk PAX West Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”), you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.  You will not be eligible to enter this Promotion or receive a prize unless you meet the eligibility requirements below.

  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win this promotion. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

  • ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories and possessions) who are at least 18 years old (except Alabama and Nebraska, who must be at least 19 years of age, and Mississippi who must be at least 21 years of age) at the time of entry.  Participants may only participate in the Promotion so long as their participation, receipt of a Prize (as defined below), and use of the Prize does not violate applicable laws.  The Promotion is void where prohibited.  Employees of Dreamhaven, Inc. and its affiliates, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.  

  • CONTEST PERIOD

The promotion begins on August 29, 2025 at 10 AM PST and ends on August 31, 2025 at 9:00 PM PDT (the “Promotion Period”). Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.

  • HOW TO ENTER

There are five (5) unique methods of entry:

  1. PAX Booth #4333 Gameplay Demo Sign-Up Entry. Visit Booth #4333 during PAX West 2025 and complete the sign-up process for the gameplay demo.
  2. PAX Booth #4333 Gameplay Demo Completion Entry. Visit Booth #4333 at your assigned day and time and complete the gameplay demo. 
  3. PAX Booth #4333 Sunderfolk Discord Join Entry. Join the Sunderfolk Discord when visiting Booth #4333. Scan the visible QR code and provide your Discord username.
  4. PAX Panel Entry. Attend the PAX West panel in the Firebird Theater on Sunday, August 31st at 8:30pm PT and scan the visible QR code displayed onscreen. 
  5. Alternate Method of Entry.  Email community@dreamhaven.com with the subject “Sunderfolk PAX West Sweepstakes Entry” and include your full name, age, and state of residence in the body of your email.  Only emails with all of the above information will be accepted as entries.  One entry per participant.

Entry Submission:

  • Players must submit their entry before the end of the Promotional Period.
  • Each valid entry will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win.
  • Limit one entry per method, up to a maximum of five (5) entries per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. Participants cannot win more than one (1) prize.
  • WINNER SELECTION & PRIZES

Dreamhaven, or Dreamhaven’s designee, shall randomly select one (1) entry from the pool of eligible entries.  The winner will be invited to join the stage and play Sunderfolk live in front of the panel audience during the duration of the panel on Sunday, August 31st 2025, from 8:30 PM PDT - 9:30 PM PDT (the “Panel Event”). 

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • WINNER NOTIFICATION

The Winner will be announced live at the start of the Panel Event. The Winner must be present to claim their prize. When announced, the winner will be asked to provide proof of age and identification. Participants must ensure they are present and have identification on hand.  Failure to respond immediately at the time of the announcement may result in disqualification, and another winner may be selected.  

  • GENERAL CONDITIONS
  • Dreamhaven reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules.
  • By entering, participants agree to abide by these rules and grant Dreamhaven permission to use my name, image, likeness, voice, and/or statements (collectively, “Likeness”) for promotional purposes in connection with my participation in the Panel.
  • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by PAX, Steam, Valve, or any other third-party platform.
  • Guest talent or other details pictured in the Sweepstakes social graphic and related materials may not be identical to the final, delivered panel experience (e.g. there may be substitute talent in the event an original member cannot make it).
  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Dreamhaven is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries, technical failures, or any issues beyond its reasonable control. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Dreamhaven from any liability arising from participation in this contest.

  • PRIVACY POLICY

Any personal data collected will only be used for the purpose of administering this Promotion and will not be shared with third parties.

  • GOVERNING LAW

This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations in the eligible regions. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America.  Except where prohibited, each participant agrees that 1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, 2) any and all claims, judgements, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event will participant be permitted to obtain attorney’s fees or other legal costs, and 3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively “Special Damages”).

  • WINNERS LIST 

To obtain the details of the winner (first name, last name initial, and state of residence of the winner), send a request via email to community@dreamhaven.com referencing “Sunderfolk PAX West Sweepstakes Entry Winner” in the subject line.  Requests must be received no later than thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Promotional Period.
